The English Dog Grooming Events committee was formed by a group of like minded dog professionals who saw a need to bring dog grooming competitions further north, giving groomers from the north a chance to see what goes on, educate and to encourage more people to enter the competition ring.
Our committee headed by Alison Rogers LCGI includes David Lockwood (Vice Chair), Jean Parsonage (Secretary), Lorraine Mottershead (Treasurer), Holly Morris (Events Coordinator) and Julie Small (Managment Committee). Individually each member owns successful dog grooming businesses and training schools, and have had experience with holding seminars with English and Internationally based speakers. Many of us recently have been involved or competed regularly within competitions held in England, not forgetting Alison Rogers international successes at competitions and judging around the World.
The objectives of the committee are to:
a) Promote and stimulate the interest of competitive dog grooming and seminars in and around the United Kingdom.
b) Our committee is committed to encouraging the highest ethical standards. All individuals involved in the committee will conduct themselves with integrity, transparency, and accountability in a fair and equitable manner.
c) Foster and promote good working practices to all other individuals and organisations.
